SOME OF THE PEOPLE, THEIR
EXPERTISE, AND HOW TO REACH THEM
pick our brains, please...
John Mora is our
ace corporate sales guy
Since
he was our service manager, John has significant product and
applications knowledge. Few in the gas detection industry have a
better understanding of the practicalities of getting the job done in
real life.
Leslie DeNunzio is
our very helpful service tech
Leslie
comes from a customer service background, and has real empathy with you,
the instrument user. She's done a great job of picking up the technical details
of our industry. If you have any questions or problems at all, please do
yourself a favor and talk to Leslie.
Sharon Evans does
many things around here, but you may know her best as the go-to girl for
order status.
Sharon has worked in many
fields, and sharpened her computer skills
when she came to Interscan. She is enthusiastic, capable, and "gives
good phone."

WEB RESOURCES
We are CONSTANTLY adding
content to our website.
Here are some recently updated/upgraded places to go
The industry
links have really been expanded
TheNomad Data Logger

shots--with full details
For non-industry stuff,
check out our Cool
sites (hundreds of 'em)
** Weekly
comments (going back to 1996)
These are on many
subjects, but we seem to get the biggest response to the movie reviews
and the true crime stories.

HANDS ACROSS THE SEA DEPARTMENT
We are proud to report
that there are now well over 500 Interscan
units in the Peoples Republic of China.
Hats off to our superdealer!!
Carbon monoxide and formaldehyde
units seem to be the biggest sellers.

NOMAD DATA LOGGER BROCHURE
NOW AVAILABLE
Interscan's new and VERY
popular data logger was selling
well BEFORE there was adequate product literature. The flyer is here
now, so I guess you've just run out of reasons not to buy one of these
clever little devices.
To get a brochure, contact Sharon
Evans
To get a Nomad, contact John
Mora

ANOTHER WAY TO GET A NOMAD
DATA LOGGER
Geographically sensitive
e-commerce was recently implemented on our sister site www.halimeter.com
Since the Nomad is popular
in that market as well as in industrial gas
detection, the Nomad can be purchased on the Halimeter
e-commerce site
Use the link to our New On-Line shop, and look for the
Nomad.

NATIONAL MISSILE DEFENSE
Whom do you call, if you're
the US Army, and you have a mission
critical requirement to monitor hydrazine and nitrogen tetroxide??
Interscan, of course.
Our instruments our now
monitoring silos, re-fueling facilities, and
transport vehicles.
So what, you say??
Here's what. Chances are
your gas monitoring application is
important, albeit not necessarily part of national defense. Isn't it
good to know that your supplier has made the grade on some of the
toughest proving grounds in the world?

MORE WINDOWS TIPS AND
TRICKS (Courtesy of winfiles.cnet.com)
*** When using the standard
clipboard, every time you paste something
new to it, you lose the last thing that was there. Windows95/98 has a
ClipBook that you can save clippings and reuse them.
To install it, put the
Windows95/98 CD-ROM in your CD drive, and in
the resulting window, select Add/Remove Software. Go to the Windows
Setup tab, click Have Disk, click, Browse, and move to
d:\Other\Clipbook (where d is your CD-ROM drive letter.)
The only file that will
be in that directory will be the CLIPBOOK.INF
file. Double-click it. Check ClipBook Viewer and install it. You will
now be able to open ClipBook through your Start menu, under the
Accessories heading.
*** To delete unwanted
temporary files when you startup every time,
simply add this line to C:\AUTOEXEC.BAT
"Echo Y|If Exist C:\Windows\Temp\*.*
Del C:\Windows\Temp\*.* >Nul"
*** To immediately turn
on your screen saver, select the .SCR file in
the WINDOWS\SYSTEM folder that corresponds to your saver, right-click
and drag it to the desktop to create a shortcut. Then double click the
new shortcut to turn on the saver! This is also a good way to protect
your machine quickly if you use password protection with your screen
saver.
